‘Soil 3’ is the conclusion of a trilogy of work from COSMIC GROUND, now one of THE most popular Electronic Music acts from the German EM scene!

Recorded over 2020 & 2021 ‘Soil 3’ features low and dirty analogue sounds, produced in a very early 70s sound style with muddy and subtle rhythms.
The details of the sounds are deep in the mix, so you will have very different listening experiences if you play this loud with headphones, or quiet in the background … all ways are possible...

Behind the COSMIC GROUND project is Dirk Jan Müller, who has released a number of psychedelic / krautrock / electronic recordings with his band ELECTRIC ORANGE over the past 30 years.
Mainly analogue synthesizers and modular systems, Mellotron, 1960s Farfisa organs, analogue string ensembles from the 70s as well as bass and guitar are used in the COSMIC GROUND. The mostly very dark music is 99% electronic in nature, supplemented by some self-recorded atmospheres from different environments that have been processed electronically.

Musician Line-up: Dirk Jan Müller (analog synthesizers / modular systems / Mellotron / Farfisa / string ensembles / piano / guitar).
